Well, I finally made my way to a Chiropractor today for the first time in my Life. It is really weird to hear your bones crack. I felt that Dr. Kusel could help me. It seems most of my problems stem from the same repetitive motion of painting in a fixed position. I am supposed to apply ice...but hyper Frank has already forgot for how long.
Years ago, I illustrated in colored pencil, a pamphlet on visiting a Chiropractor. It was a fun job as the client sent me to a Chiropractic office and models were hired to simulate treatment. Copies of the pamphlet are still around. You may have seen them.
ThankYou for your concern.....

What a great little tid-bit.
ReplyDeleteI hope your visit to the Chiropractor helps, of course you know it takes more than one visit to do the trick. You have to stay with it. (More mothering)
Cara Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI feel better. He has me down for 3 more visits starting Monday. It costs $30 a visit in Auburn.
Sorry to hear about your wrist. I had the same problem from the "computer mouse death claw" during video editing. That's when I switched to a tablet. The chiropractor fixed my wrist and all pain is gone. I hope you have the same success!
ReplyDeleteMy Chiro..said I have Thoraxic Outlet Syndrome...he is working on the muscle by my right scapula.....I'm going off to plein air paint...
ReplyDeleteDon't tell my wife....shhhhh
ReplyDeleteFrank, I have sent up a prayer for you and your healing.
ReplyDeleteI used to illustrate almost exclusively with colored pencils,
scrubbing and layering to get a polished effect. Colored pencil is
the worst for wrist pain. I think getting outdoors and painting
loose (with your other hand?) would be helpful.
Keep putting ice on it. 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.
hope you feel better soon like your drawing
ReplyDeleteJanice...I don't draw as much now just for that reason. I am doing the ice application.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers!
Hey Frank,
ReplyDeleteMan sorry your having wrist problems. I hope you get better soon. By the way thats a great colored pencil work.
Get better soon, Jason
Hey Jason...Good to hear from you!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't make yourself a stranger. I hope all is well.
I stopped colored pencil a long time aga. Go to Ordaz Drawz for colored pencil stuff if you are interested.
Hi Frank,
ReplyDeleteI was just looking thru your paintings, when I came upon the chiropractor one. Sorry about your wrist. My whole family goes to the chiropractor. They are truly great DRs. The only thing they cannot do , is write prescriptions. I go for my back and neck, he also adjusts my feet and wrists also. Good luck to you. I enjoy looking at all your work.

Thanks Kathy,
ReplyDeleteIts a whole lot better now!!!!!!
